For some time the term “circular economy” has become part of the common language and it is often used to refer to a remote and indefinite concept of environmental sustainability.
Indeed, circular economy is not a mere slogan: it represents a new economic model which may be capable to ensure «a smart, sustainable and inclusive growth».
On this basis, this book aims at providing an academic interdisciplinary reflection on circular economy and its several and multifaceted implications. In so doing, it will help the reader to understand the main features of this “cultural revolution”.
