“It's not easy to find a common thread among the essays that are in this issue of Quaderni. The inspirations and research topics offered by the authors are so rich and diversified.
It is precisely this that makes the musical study fascinating: its inexhaustible multiplicity of analysis, reflections and trajectories.
Despite this, as in an underground river, two directions seem to cross and unite the six contributions that are in the Quaderno: a didactic-pedagogical perspective, which takes on the age-old debate on the modes, meaning and value of teaching music (in the essays by Bartoliri, Ferrari and Gagliardi); and an aesthetic-anthropological perspective, which combine the sound experience with the visual one, intended both as a figurative art and a broader way of understanding reality (in the essays by Bucci, Caporaletti and Della Valle)”.
