Preface by Michela Meschini
The three collections gathered in this volume share a common idea of poetry as expression of the self and as response to an existential restlessness that clashes with the indifference of the world. These two aspects unfold through an internal continuity of forms and figures that highlights well-defined and recognizable poetic voices, albeit marked by a typically youthful emotional impetuosity. The most intimate movements of the soul - fears, desires, passions, frustrations - generate the poetry of the three authors, who are equally able to measure themselves against the world and reality outside the self, grasping its inconsistencies and sorrow, injustices and absurdities.
