This research adopts an interdisciplinary approach and begins with the conviction that the role of institutions and attention to safeguarding rights are essential factors in determining economic growth. This is only possible with efficient markets, strong institutions, transparency, good governance and a cohesive global context. Another thought-inspiring topic is one that investigates the relationships between economic growth and protection of rights. The promotion of rights isn’t an expendable “luxury” on the altar of the public finances; on the contrary, it represents a fundamental productive factor that contributes to political stability and economic growth.
