“To present the essays in this edition, one can use the image of a crossroads, an intersection of routes which go in different and autonomous directions. The two main guidelines of research are, on the one hand, the study of the processes of training (in the essays written by Anceschi and Machado Chaves), and, on the other, the study of artistic and musical products (in the essays written by Bucci and Grilli). Each essay has an inner transverse path, perpetuating - like the infinite reflections in facing mirrors - the fruitful and stimulating logic in the complex study of music.”
